Built from 950 to 1050 AD, the Khajuraho Temples in Madhya Pradesh are world famous for their explicitly sensuous sculptures. Now a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Khajuraho complex is said to have contained a total of 85 temples, of which only 12 survive to this day.
